The Real Estate "Hoff Team"

Samuel C. Hoff is a lifelong resident of Carroll County. Sam has owned and operated the insurance and real estate business that bears his name since 1967. Prior to opening the business, Sam was a dairy farmer and cattleman. Committed to his community, Sam is a member of Westminster Rotary International, Grace Lutheran Church, Carroll County Chamber of Commerce, and the Carroll County, Maryland, & National Associations of Realtors. Sam has served as president of the Chamber of Commerce, Carroll County Assoc. of Realtors, Westminster Jaycees, and is a 4-H All Star. Although Sam devotes the majority of his time to the insurance side of the business, he is always available to offer insight based on his years of experience and to promote the interests of our real estate clients.
Georgia S. Hoff is a partner and associate broker of the Samuel C. Hoff Agency. Georgia's greatest strengths are her dedication to the interests of her clients, her ability to bring opposing parties to consensus, and her commitment to professional ethics and standards of practice. A past president of the Carroll County Association of Realtors and the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce, Georgia was the chairman of the Professional Ethics and Standards of Practice committee for over 20 years and has lent her expertise to committees and task forces too numerous to list. Georgia has a unique vision of the practice of real estate, a belief in the importance of technology, and an understanding that real estate is a knowledge-based business. Georgia believes that by sharing our knowledge and experience with our clients, they are better prepared to make decisions about how and where they live.
Daniel E. Hoff has recently completed his sixteenth year in the family business. A graduate of Franklin & Marshall College with a degree in accounting, Dan has a very objective and analytical mind; he is especially adept at weighing the various factors that determine a property's market value and is often called upon to consult with the other team members in this critical process. Dan has gained a great deal of experience in developing lots and land in Carroll County, has just completed the development of a 35-acre tract in Baltimore County, and is currently working on multiple land development projects. Dan was awarded "Rookie of the Year" in 1994 and earned the "Graduate, Real Estate Institute" designation in 1997. Dan and his wife have a labor of love in the ongoing restoration of their Victorian home. Dan is also a father of two! A three year old boy and a newborn baby boy!
Michelle L. Aberts has been an invaluable member of the Hoff Team for over twenty years. Thoroughly organized, she is always willing to find time in her busy schedule to show clients properties. Michelle is a native Carroll Countian who grew up working on her family's dairy farm; she, her husband and two active children live in Taneytown.

All Team members are salaried employees to eliminate competition and promote team spirit. Listings are handled by a project leader, but we regularly collaborate to ensure a fresh approach and broad perspective. The result of this collaboration is that everyone in the office becomes familiar with each property and every buyer and seller, which means that everyone knows your name, your goals, and your point of view. And, because we have invested in the latest communication technology, we're never out of touch. At the Hoff Agency, "working together to serve you better" is not just a slogan, it's our continuous improvement strategy and our promise to our clients.
